European Linen

WILDA.ECO white European linen fabric

European linen - made in Poland

European linen, sourced predominantly from France and Poland, is integral to our commitment to responsible sourcing. This natural fibre comes from the flax plant, one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world, and requires minimal use of pesticides and energy-intensive treatments.

Our linen fabrics are produced in Lower Silesia, Poland, close to our company in Wilda, Poznań. This proximity allows us to support local economies and preserve responsible cultivation and processing methods.

Linen stands out for its breathability, softness, and comfort, particularly in hot weather. Beyond these qualities, it is also biodegradable and recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly material. Compared to other fabrics like cotton, linen uses less water and energy, which further enhances its sustainability.

Our shoulder pads incorporate two layers of this high-quality European linen, balancing sustainability, comfort, and style.

Importantly, our linen holds REACH and Oeko-Tex certifications. These confirm that our linen is produced without harmful chemicals that could affect human health or the environment, and every production stage is tested for harmful substances.

Choosing products made from our European linen means choosing quality and comfort as well as contributing to a sustainable and local future.
