European Materials

WILDA.ECO European local factory in the Wilda district of Poznań, Poland, European Union

Regional European origin

At the heart of our commitment to sustainable fashion, we pride ourselves on the precise traceability of our materials. With pioneering accuracy, we disclose the origin of every component, pinpointing its roots to specific European regions, lands, or provinces. This approach fosters a deeper connection between you and your garment, imbuing each piece with the rich traditions unique to such region as Braga district rather than a more general representation of Portugal.

This ethos of regionalism reinforces not only the geographical intimacy of our sourcing but also underscores our dedication to reducing environmental impact. By predominantly sourcing from within the European Union, excluding a select few components from Bursa, positioned on the cusp of Europe, and Japan, we significantly lower transportation distances and, in turn, our carbon footprint. Our Japanese components are distributed through their own European channels, mirroring our sustainability efforts to source closer to home.

Our stringent selection criteria extend to environmental preservation and labour protection rights, aligning with some of the strictest regulations globally found in Europe and Japan. This commitment ensures the ecological integrity of our materials and upholds high social standards, supporting the well-being of those behind every thread.

Supporting local European industries in their green transition is not just an objective; it’s a mission in creating our collection, making our garments quintessentially European in spirit and provenance.
Additionally, by disclosing the country of origin of the raw materials used in our components’ production, we further our promise of traceability and accountability.

The essence of our approach is simple yet profound: to weave the values of sustainability, transparency, and European regional heritage into the narrative of every garment, ensuring that it resonates deeply with those who wear it.
