We collect information about your shopping cart during the checkout process on our store.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We will start tracking your shopping cart as soon as you add an item to your shopping cart and enter your email or phone number in the checkout form or popup. If you have signed into your account, we will start tracking your cart as soon as you add an item to your cart.

We store the contents of your shopping cart, your IP address, and the data you provide in the checkout form or popup to:

  • Send you a transactional email or text message about your abandoned cart.
  • Improve customer experience by restoring data that has been entered in the checkout form in case you leave or accidentally refresh the page.
  • To help detect and prevent fraudulent activities, such as unauthorized access, account takeover, or suspicious transactions.

How long we retain your data

We will store abandoned cart information for 180 days for the purpose of restoring your abandoned cart and checkout form data. This includes your name, surname, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, location, IP address and additional information.

Who has access

Our store Administrators and Shop Managers have access to the abandoned cart data you have provided.

This website uses Burst Statistics, a Privacy-Friendly Statistics Tool to analyse visitor behaviour. For this functionality we (this website) collect anonymised data, stored locally without sharing it with other parties. We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of basket contents while you’re browsing our site.

This site utilises caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. Where we send your data

Popup Maker does not send any user data outside of your site by default.

If you have extended our subscription forms to send data to a 3rd party service such as Mailchimp, user info may be passed to these external services. These services may be located abroad.
