At WILDA.ECO, we actively participate in initiatives that enrich our neighbourhood and transcend borders, proving that our commitment is far-reaching beyond the intricacies of the cutting table. We allocate 1% of our revenues, not just profits, to entities of substantial cause, including Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), for their global healthcare initiatives and Wilda Local Initiative ‘WILdzianie’, embodying our passion for local engagement.
WILdzianie is dedicated to fostering the development of Wilda, addressing the pressing needs of our local community, and catalysing initiatives that spur cultural enrichment, advocate for sustainable transport, and safeguard our historical, natural, and cultural heritage. Over the past decade, ‘WILdzianie’ has endeavoured to cultivate a vibrant community spirit in Wilda through organising clean-ups, beautification projects, workshops, concerts, festivals, and markets, inspiring transformative change.
Our approach to fashion is intertwined with our social responsibility, crafting garments that stand for ethical elegance and community support.
Our story
The inception of WILDA.ECO was born out of a desire to create a truly ethical, sustainable, and transparent slow fashion brand. We live and work in the bustling and diverse Wilda district in the heart of Poznań, adopting minimalist and compact living principles reflected in our designs.
Our daily choices align with our brand philosophy, advocating for reduced car travel, local businesses’ support, and active community engagement. These principles are not just a part of our personal beliefs; they are deeply ingrained in the essence of WILDA.ECO.
With backgrounds in Fashion, Management, Marketing, and IT and exposure to international exhibitions in cities like London, Milan, and Paris, we have enriched our approach to building a brand that embodies our values and dedication to the planet and its people.
Having collaborated with luxury brands from across five continents, we have uncovered the concealed realities of the industry – from instances of prestige masking harsh truths to encounters with greenwashing practices. Drawing from that experience, we sought to strip away the facade of opulence and grandeur, focusing on creating genuinely ethical, beautiful, and responsible slow fashion. We are forging a new path – a maximalist approach to sustainability where no compromises are made.
